Allied Equipment Company is currently interviewing qualified candidates for:

Sales Engineer

Successful candidate will be able to:

  • SELL broad, integrated product line with minimal supervision; begin and follow individual ob from take-off, product recommendation/selection, purchasing, shipping, commencement and billing.

  • BUILD partnering relationship with customers to better serve the process from project design and selection to installation.

  • INTEGRATE self into greater HVAC engineering community thru participation in local, regional and national professional organizations.

  • MANAGE house accounts

  • SUPPORT other sales staff.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Calling on mechanical contractors, engineers, architects, end users and HVAC plumbing wholesalers

  • Educate/alert customers to product benefits, applications and new developments

  • Take-off and quote customer projects

  • Negotiating final project costs

  • Orchestrating product ordering, shipping and delivery details

  • Finalizing and reconcile purchase orders and invoicing

  • Handling phone inquiries

  • You will work in a largely independent office environment with support from inside sales personnel, other sales engineers and office staff.

 

Salary commensurate with experience.

Warehouse Management/
Inside Sales

Assist with inventory management, receiving, shipping, deliveries, as well as handling phone/email inquiries for equipment selection, pricing and availability.

Skills Needed:

  • Customer Service

  • Computer Skills

  • Multitasking

  • Experience in HVAC Equipment (Preferred)

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Answering phone calls and emails from customers to provide pricing and availability.

  • Maintaining meticulous records of quotes, correspondence and sales orders.

  • Providing clear, complete and legible billing instructions.

  • Assist with incoming deliveries.

  • Assist with computerized warehouse inventory management.

  • Assist with shipping and customer deliveries.

  • Assist with warehouse, truck, forklift maintenance.

Supply House Sales

Responsible for selling plumbing and heating products distributed through supply houses in northeast Ohio.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accounts.

  • Keeping accounts current and up to date regarding price changes, new products, new product lines and training.

  • Implementing manufacturer sponsored sales programs.

  • Developing Allied Equipment Company sponsored sales programs.

  • Developing and managing email communications.

  • Participating in regional trade shows.

  • Candidate must have prior experience in plumbing and heating industry.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Computer skills.

  • Ability to work independently.
